The District operates in accordance with Chapters 49 and 54 of the Texas Water Code and is subject to the continuing supervision of the TCEQ.  The District currently contains 293 acres within its boundaries and serves approximately 600 households in the Pin Oak Village and Mills Pointe subdivisions.  The principal functions of the District are to finance, construct, own, operate and maintain drinking water, wastewater and drainage facilities and to provide such facilities and services to the customers of the District.  The District also provides solid waste collection and recycling services as well as maintains the street lights within the neighborhoods.

The District is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of five individuals who are residents or property owners in the District and are elected by voters within the District. The Board of Directors sets the policies of the District.  Regular Board meetings are scheduled for 7:00pm on the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month at the Pin Oak Village Clubhouse (1301 Misty Bend Drive Katy, Texas 77494).

The Board uses the Clubhouse to post important notices about District operations, meetings and other helpful information about water conservation and recycling.  Thank you for visiting the District's website and we trust you will find this information helpful.
